Come join us on our beautiful 575-acre campus for a week packed with outdoor adventure experiences!
Your camper will have opportunities to build personal resilience and connect with other campers through challenge course, canoeing, archery, mindfulness, equine experiences and other fun camp activities. All activities are built around a resilience objective such as building competence, connection or communication and are debriefed with our trained facilitators. On Thursday night, your camper is invited to sleep over in our temperature-controlled bunkhouse with bathrooms so that they can experience the magic of our campus at night including campfires and stargazing.
During week two, we’re thrilled to offer our older campers an elevated, age-appropriate experience! These young adults can expect some of our classic camp experiences as well as elevated challenge course experiences, an introduction to mountain biking on our awesome trail system and the Thursday overnight will be in tents where they’ll be able to experience the campfire and stargazing.
Drop off from 8-8:30 and pick up from 4:30-5pm.
Meals, snacks and hydration will be provided.
We believe in making our programming accessible to as many people as possible and have scholarships available! Please fill out the form located here and submit to Bethany Ore, our Program Registrar, at bethany@lifeadventurecenter.org
Our trained staff will intentionally sequence resilience building programs to best meet your campers’ individual needs. We will communicate specific details about any gear or extra items we recommend bringing roughly 2 weeks prior to your on-site experience. For the length of camp, we recommend your camper wearing clothes they are comfortable moving around in and wouldn’t mind getting dirty. Close-toed shoes are required for all Challenge Course and Equine activities. We’ll have a canoe and swim day where we ask that you provide your child with swimwear, a towel, and water shoes. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle and sunscreen daily. As always, any activity on our property is challenge by choice meaning we will support your campers’ unique goals and welcome them to participate at whatever level is right for them. Please feel free to ask any additional questions or share any relevant information prior to your camper joining us onsite.

What if the weather is bad?
It is very possible that we may encounter inclement weather during the week of camp. Your campers adventure will not be canceled; it will just become a different kind of fun…and potentially temporarily indoors. Each of our program areas has adequate shelter in the event of inclement weather. Additionally, each staff member is trained on our Emergency Action Plan if severe weather occurs. How safe is Life Adventure Center?
Your campers physical and emotional safety is our primary concern. Our facilitators have been trained in best practice standards and procedures that make this facility as safe as possible. Our safety policies for each program area are congruent with and adhere to strict industry standards. Our facility is accredited through the American Camp Association who review our policies and practices yearly and visit our site every 3 years for a thorough inspection.
