Life Adventure Center is located in Versailles, Kentucky on a beautiful 575-acre farm and forest. We are an experiential education center focused on transforming lives and building resiliency. We serve groups from all walks of life. We also provide fun, outdoor adventure, team-building retreats and field trips for corporate, school and other groups.
Seasonal Program Facilitator
The Seasonal Program Facilitator is a positive team player who supports our mission to build resilience through outdoor adventure by facilitation of camps and programs with our participants. This position will be a 6-month contract from May-November with the possibility of becoming a full-time position. The program facilitator helps set the tone for camp and all programming with a caring, supportive, attentive, and encouraging presence. The program facilitator focuses not only on the highest level of physical safety of the element, but also the emotional safety of the participant and group. The program facilitator is a curious learner, an excellent communicator and has a heart that aligns with our mission.

The job
- Training May 12-23
- Camps running from May 27- August 10
- Day camps and occasional overnight/Weekend retreats
- Training in all program areas
- Facilitating on challenge course and programs listed below
- Opportunity for resume building: ropes course, equine, paddling, archery, mountain biking, yoga, art, mindfulness & more
- Working with a variety of groups including: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lexington Police Department & youth effected by incarceration
Housing & Competitive Pay
- $4,000 Stipend
- Free on-site housing in shared, rustic cabins
- On-site meals with groups provided
- Shared kitchen and living space
- Access to hiking & Mountain Biking trails
- Located near both Lexington & Louisville Kentucky
- $300 bonus if current lifeguard certification valid through end of summer

Operations Director
The Operations Director is a key leader who supports our mission to build resilience through outdoor adventure. The Operations Director has a thorough understanding of all the details involved in making our programs run smoothly and safely, while ensuring that we’re operating with industry best practices and are meeting all our accreditation requirements. The operations director has a heart that aligns with our mission, seeks out quality improvement opportunities and represents Life Adventure Center at community events with a professional presence.
