Life Adventure Center is located in Central Kentucky, on 575 acres nestled into rolling countryside.
Learn about our different facilities below.
The Life Adventure Center office is located next to the equine barn and indoor arena.
Please feel free to park in the lot below the barn and follow the short trail up to our front door!
The Barn houses twelve stalls, a well-equipped English and Western tack room, wash racks, and an office for our equine staff.
Our Challenge Course acts as a resource for your group to explore individual and group strengths, think outside of the box, face fears, and improve group dynamics. Our professional facilitators engage participants in interactive play on and above the ground. These challenges are custom designed to meet specific needs within the group! Each participant plays a vital role in the group’s success, thus creating a stronger, unified team.
During Your Adventure You Will:
Labyrinths are used world-wide as a way to quiet the mind, calm anxieties, recover balance in life, enhance creativity and encourage meditation, insight, self-reflection and stress reduction.
Our meditative labyrinth has been used by a diverse range of groups – from youth campers at our summer resilience-building adventure camps, to veterans recovering from PTSD.
Our Labyrinth was designed by a former Life Adventure Center camp director, Jason “Wolf” Hicks, who worked endless hours to construct the labyrinth at the highest point on our property. It includes stones from Life Adventure Camp, from the properties of several of our earlier board members, as well as stones from former dwellings of enslaved Kentuckians.
