Diversity and Inclusion

At Life Adventure Center, we believe that the healing power of nature should be available to everyone. We are committed to making sure our programming, our facility, and our staff are welcoming and safe for all.

All people should have equitable access to nature and the outdoors. We deeply believe in the potential for nature to bring health and wellbeing to our participants and their families, of all backgrounds and identities, but this can only happen when outdoor spaces are safe and outdoor leaders are sensitive to the realities of racism, inequity, and generational trauma.

We believe in working to make our programming accessible for people of all abilities and backgrounds. We seek to empower all individuals that come to Life Adventure Center by providing an accessible space for individuals to discover their strengths and overcome barriers to meet their goals. Please contact us with any questions or concerns about making our programming work for your group.

Similarly, we believe that each of us contributes to inclusion—we all have a role to play. In recruiting for our team, we welcome the unique contributions that you can bring in terms of your education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.

We invite you to hold us accountable in this work.

Please contact us if you have any questions or want to discuss any specific concerns.
